Amazon is looking for driven FinOps Manager- AR to become major contributor to the fast paced world of Global Accounts Receivable team. This is an exciting role in Finance Operations team in Hyderabad, India.

About the role

The successful candidate will be a member of the Global Finance Operations and will be responsible for vendor experience and complex dispute management and team management.

Responsibilities will include:
• Manage AR VRET and CCOGS disputes management for specified orgs
• Design and drive process metrics/goals
• Analyzing metrics relating to operational performance and effectively presenting data to vendors and internal teams
• Perform audit of processes and drive defect reduction
• Support data analysis and process reengineering
• Working with FinOps leaders, retail finance, business and Business Partnering teams to build scalable processes
• Working actively and accurately on an independent basis; giving great attention to detail and displaying the initiative to quickly identify and resolve variances, failures and discrepancies
• Interacting with Retail & Finance teams while working on disputes and agreeing on priorities, business decisions, objectives and communication
• Work with global stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and help drive the same. This would include driving a culture of continuous improvement through quality initiatives like Lean & Six Sigma.
• Providing financial analysis to prioritize and lead cost reduction efforts
• Execute and implement SOX compliance procedures.
About you:
The ideal candidate will be experienced in finance role with an understanding of finance operations and will have experience in relationship and people management. He/she will have problem solving skills with the focus on improving the process. The ideal candidate should have action-driven personality and motivation to proactively address any issues on dispute management and identify areas for improvement. Additional traits we are looking for are a strong desire to hire and develop the best, effective interpersonal skills; including persuasive written and oral communication, solid organizational skills and ability to assess and manage risk.

Basic Qualifications:
Basic qualifications:

• Minimum requirements include Master's Degree Accounting/Finance or a related field
• Should have people management experience of minimum 2 years
• Ability to communicate and present complex analysis/data clearly and concisely
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Analytical skills with the ability to get into the detail, while also seeing and understanding the bigger picture

Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced Excel and SQL skills are advantageous
• Experience in Accounts Receivable field and Oracle tool are preferred
