The Capital Project Services team advises governments and businesses in the delivery of complex capital projects and programs. As part of our team, you'll provide expertise to clients on the design and delivery of transformative projects, program and commercial management approaches, and optimization of capital programs while ensuring project success, within constrained budgets or through challenging situations. You will work across many sectors providing services across the project life cycle from project feasibility, governance, infrastructure and procurement, construction readiness, project execution and readiness for operations.

What you'll create and do

As a Manager, you will advise the management of public and private entities on the conduct of complex projects or investments. Your functions will include the financial analysis of infrastructure projects, the preparation of procurement strategies and processes, financial bid evaluation, negotiation of commercial agreements and other advisory services related to best practices in the field of capital and infrastructure projects:
  • Supervise and contribute to drafting reports and information documents of a financial nature, business cases and analyses related to various procurement methods
  • Participate in assignments involving post-transaction monitoring and project tracking
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals for several projects
  • Oversee the development and review of complex financial models
  • Participate in the development of the strategic planning, granting and financial structuring of capital and infrastructure projects
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of various sectors such as transportation, health or energy
  • Participate in large-scale and complex procurements of infrastructure including development of procurement documents and information memorandums
  • Advise clients on best practices in the management of capital and infrastructure projects, and support them in the implementation of these recommendations


What you'll bring to this role
  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, in major capital projects and infrastructure
  • A university degree in a relevant discipline (business, accounting, finance, procurement, law, engineering, political science, etc.)

    A professional designation (or an interest in pursuing it) in finance (CFA, CBV) or in project management (PMP) will be considered an asset
  • Strong communication, presentation and writing skills, including the ability to understand and effectively summarize complex documents
  • Proven technical and analytical capabilities including proven financial analysis and financial modelling skills (applied to infrastructure and/or energy projects)
  • Confidence, desire and ability to learn all aspects of infrastructure sectors in a short timeframe
  • A taste for teamwork, on complex and often demanding projects
