Director, Financial Planning and Analysis

Lead within our high performing Group Financial Planning & Analysis function, playing a pivotal role you will drive change and operational efficiencies to support the CFO and other senior leaders. You will use analytics and insights to support business decisions and performance whilst displaying exceptional people leadership skills.

The team is focused on providing strategic analysis, forecasting and reporting to the Group CFO and senior management and works collaboratively across the financial management ecosystem together with all the businesses. Being a subject matter expert in the field, your role will be highly visible in order to drive change and implement viable solutions to achieve desired commercial outcomes.

Using your expertise, you will:
  • drive change across Group level forecasting, analysis and reporting
  • producing analysis and insights for senior management including the CFO, CEO and the Board
  • compile and analyse internal and external data to provide insight to support commercial decision making
  • drive in the preparation of external analysis prepared for investors and analysts to assist their understanding of the Group and its performance

You will be required to utilise your well-developed influencing skills across a number of senior stakeholders. Partnering with stakeholders you will provide guidance and advice following thorough review of client, operational, product and financial management information, a deep and detailed understanding of profitability models, business drivers and an overall curious mindset to understand and challenge strategic direction.

You will have tenacity, agility and a proven ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fast-paced, output focused environment and be a natural collaborator who can initiate and lead conversations with business leaders regarding anticipated and emerging opportunities.

With an Accounting or Finance qualification, you will bring previous experience demonstrating and have a detailed understanding of commercial business drivers, funding and capital, data analytics. As a people leader, you will require demonstrated experience in delivering and coaching commercial insights, data and process improvements, and a change mindset to promote team and client innovation is required.
