Hays are seeking an experienced and hands-on Financial Controller for a SME organisation in Central Victoria.

Your new role
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of the finance function:
  • Preparing monthly management reports
  • Oversee GST compliance and BAS preparation
  • Maintaining the general ledger, debtors and creditors
  • Preparation and presentation of reports
  • Budget and forecast preparation Working collaboratively with the rest of finance team
  • Travel required is required


What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role you must have demonstrated the following:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline
  • CA/CPA is a must
  • Innovative and commercial mindset
  • Hands-on leadership
  • Confident communicator who can engage and influence key stakeholders
  • Proactive and ambitious attitude
  • 2 references and pre-employment checks
