Hays are seeking an experienced and hands-on Financial Controller for a SME organisation in Central Victoria.
Your new role
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of the finance function:
- Preparing monthly management reports
- Oversee GST compliance and BAS preparation
- Maintaining the general ledger, debtors and creditors
- Preparation and presentation of reports
- Budget and forecast preparation Working collaboratively with the rest of finance team
- Travel required is required
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role you must have demonstrated the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline
- CA/CPA is a must
- Innovative and commercial mindset
- Hands-on leadership
- Confident communicator who can engage and influence key stakeholders
- Proactive and ambitious attitude
- 2 references and pre-employment checks
