Grafton Banks Finance are currently working with well respected commercial company with offices in Central Brighton. We are looking for a Management Accountant on an initial 6-9 month contract. Reporting into the FP&A Manager the purpose of the role is to produce the management information to a variety of stakeholders to the board.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
The successful candidate will be a Part Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Accountant with good general technical accounting skills with experience in month end reporting. Ability to produce, high quality, relevant reports accurately and within deadlines. You will need to have strong communication skills and be self motivated to work to tight deadlines. You will need to have strong analytical and problem skills. You will need to have strong computer skills ( Excel MS Office). Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Monthly MI Reporting
- Production of product P&L's for the Investment Products.
- Review and insight into the Direct costs, Commission and income for each product
- Shared production of regular MI such as Weekly Dashboard,
- Cost Allocations process for actuals and budget
- Maintaining & developing income models and income mileage charts
- Experience Analysis - analysing data to understand patterns / develop metrics
- Seeking continuous improvement of regular processes to speed up delivery
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Maintaining a forecasting model
- Producing the required budget and forecast for products
- Producing product forecasts to be used for capital planning
- Systems - working with Power BI to extract data and produce meaningful reports and analysis
