Permanent Bookkeeper job in Fife in Practice, Salary up to £25,000 + 35 days annual leave & free parking

Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their client, an established Accountancy Practice based in central Fife for an experienced Bookkeeper within Practice. This firm offers a full range of accounting services to a diverse client portfolio. Salary is £22,000 - £25,000 depending on experience + 35 days annual leave
Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for general bookkeeping and accounting to trial balance for a range of clients. You will be responsible for preparation of VAT returns and processing year end journal entries to clients' accounting systems. You will complete general filing and administration duties in connection with bookkeeping work. As a Bookkeeper you will prepare and review management accounts and annual statutory financial statements and regularly liaise with clients within your portfolio. You will assist with payroll as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful candidate you will be a highly experienced Bookkeeper within Practice and will have experience of working in a similar finance role. You will have experience of Sage or Xero and/or other cloud based accounting packages. You will be a highly organised individual with strong interpersonal skills and be confident working unsupervised and independently.
