Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced practice bookkeeper to join their busy practice based in Chichester.

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience
The salary for this role is between £20,000 - £25,000 depending on experience but may be flexible for the right candidate, this is a full time role.

The duties of the role include but are not limited to:
- Processing client documents and inputting them onto accounts software
- Preparing and filing VAT returns
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Bank reconciliations
- Dealing with any client queries in a timely manner
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience
- At least 2 years experience working within a firm of accountants
- Experience using Sage and/or Xero
- Good communication skills and confidence when speaking to clients
- A good understanding of double entry bookkeeping
- Experience working both independently and as part of a team
