Job description

As a Fund Accounting Officer - Regulatory Reporting Oversight Officer you will be expected to ensure that the IQEQ Luxembourg Funds teams successfully file all monthly, quarterly, semi annual and annual regulatory reporting with the CSSF and BCL in an efficient and consistent manner.

You will also be expected to ensure full adherence to the current process so that all filings are made on an accurate and timely basis but there is also an expectation that you will liaise with IT, Fund Accounting & Transfer Agency teams to streamline the process and add automation where possible and improve the control environment.

You will have a background in fund accounting/administration and be comfortable interpreting output from an accounting platform (with input and support from the FA teams).

One of the key responsibilities you will have would be to ensure this output from IQEQ’s primary accounting platforms is mapped appropriately to the various regulatory reporting templates that the BCL and the CSSF use.

Also, during periods where there's less regulatory filing activity you will be expected to work with management within the fund accounting teams & change management to support complimentary projects that are ongoing or require attention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Economics or Finance
  • ACCA is a great asset
  • 1 - 3 years in an audit firm, service provider or 2-4 years accounting experience in Private Equity/Real Estate alternative funds
  • An interest in regulatory reporting
  • Fluent in English is essential
  • French and/or German language (desirable)
  • Exposure to Lux GAAP and EVCA/INREV/IPEVC guidelines is an asset
