Junior Accountant - Nicosia

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and work as a part of a team to meet and achieve ther needs,including:

• Assisting clients in implementation of holding companies,investing, financing and intellectual property companies as well as real estate companies;
• Handling the day to day operations of companies;
• Keeping company books and preparing periodic reports;
• Assisting in the coordination of year-end audits;
• Preparing statutory financial statements and maintaining contact with auditors when applicable;
• Preparing tax and VAT returns and maintaining relevant contact with tax authorities and tax advisers when applicable;
• Taking part in developing restructuring plans or ther transactions in compliance with recommendations f the local regulatory body including spin-off's, mergers and acquisitions;
• Assisting with the organisation of board meetings and share holder meetings.

YOUR PROFILE:

• You are currently in process of completing an accounting qualification(ACA or ACCA);
• You have at least 2 years of relevant experiance;
• Experiance with using E-soft software will be considered an advnantage;
• Knowledge of the Funds industry, specifically of the Alternative Investment Funds will be cosidered an advantage;
• Fluency in both English and Greek is a requirement;
• You are an effective communicator and are happy to work as a part of a team;
• You have strong organisational skills;
• You can work independently,while aslo possesing risk awareness and high integrity while dealing with confidential information.
