Senior Business Services Accountant

Your new company
Cornerstone Accounting and Financial Services has a strong focus on giving excellent customer service and looking after their staff. Being a well-established firm within the greater Hobart market, they are seeking to continue to expand their team to help with the increasing work load.

Your new role
Based in Kingston, and reporting directly the Partner, you'll be working and managing a client base of small to medium sized business. You'll ultimately be responsible for all the accounting and business services requirements including, SMSF Accounting, preparation of financial statements, BAS and tax advisory. You'll liaise directly with clients and have the full support of the Managing Partner.

What you'll need to succeed
As the preferred candidate you'll have a commenced or completed your CA/CPA and have experience in a similar function. You'll have high attention to detail, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and be adaptable to a team environment. You'll have a strong working knowledge of Business Services Accounting gained by practical experience and possess excellent communication skills which enables you to build rapport with clients. This role would be well suited to a candidate with multiple years post graduate experience who has acted in a Business services role with a strong understanding of Australian Tax rules. Candidates need full working rights in Australia and be prepared to undergo a national police check prior to commencement.
