Dynamic, fast paced international engineering consultancy business based in central Melbourne

Your new role
Reporting into the Financial Controller and taking ownership of day to day accounting for the Australian business -
  • Month end reporting and year end reporting (including audit management)
  • Supervision of accounting support staff
  • Business partnering with operational teams
  • Advising on project pricing and financial management, and providing broader commercial advice to the business
  • Tax compliance / preparation of tax return information (GST, FBT, Income Tax etc...)
  • Involvement with process improvement projects
  • Cash flow analysis and reporting

What you'll need to succeed
  • Broad skillset in financial, management accounting, finance business partnering and staff leaderships
  • CA qualified
  • Big 4/2nd tier background then commerce and industry experience
  • Ideally some exposure to engineering or construction or similar project business
  • Advanced Excel and Deltek experience advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong worth ethic
