  • About the team & the job

    Our Luxembourg Transaction Financial Engineering team (“TFE”) is involved in the pricing of financial instruments, financial & accounting analysis, modeling and valuation assignments. TFE team forms part of our Transfer Pricing department, which is the most dynamic in Luxembourg, being one of the 2 biggest teams with more than 60 team members from 20 countries. It is dedicated to time-delivery, Excellent Client Services and knowledge.

    You will be assisting Private Equity and Real Estate clients in their transactions, providing them modeling, financial accounting advisory and transfer pricing assistance and solutions. You will also be involved in intragroup valuation assignments including company valuation, valuation of financial instruments and intangible asset valuation. You will also assist in reviewing and/or modelling the financial impacts of restructuring plans as well as advising on the financial and accounting implications of proposed transactions on an “ad-hoc” basis.

    About you

    You are confident about your financial modeling and valuation skills and/or have either strong Luxembourg GAAP knowledge or financial transfer pricing experience. You are reliable and take ownership of your assignments. You show well established organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills.

    We will integrate you in a multi-disciplinary team advising our clientele of Private Equity and Real Estate Houses and large corporate multinational, where you will learn every day something different about TP, valuation and modelling, with high career opportunities.

    To qualify for the role you must have

  • A Masters or equivalent certification in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Engineering, Business Administration or similar;
  • At least 5 years of working experience in corporate finance or accounting/audit with sound exposure to modelling or other with valuation/financial transfer pricing exposure;
  • Advanced financial modelling skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel;
  • A fluent English level.
  • Any of the following would also be considered an asset

  • A solid understanding of Luxembourg regulatory environment;
  • Qualified accountant in Luxembourg (Expert-Comptable, Ordre des Experts Comptables);
  • Knowledge of VBA;
  • Knowledge of option pricing;
  • Exposure to credit rating analysis assignments;
  • The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification;
  • The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification;
  • The Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certification;
  • Ability to work independently with Thomson Reuters Eikon or Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ;
  • Fluency in French and/or German.
