What does a great Finance Manager do? The Merchant JV and Acquirer Processing Team is a matrixed organization within Fiserv, focused on delivering strategic merchant services through a variety of delivery methods from direct to joint venture.We are seeking hands–on Finance Manager for our fast–paced Merchant JV and Acquirer Processing team. This role interacts regularly with business unit senior leadership and FP partners to consolidate and analyze business financial performance. The ideal candidate will be a multi–faceted finance professional, who will be responsible for consolidation activities, including preparing full P reporting and commentary on monthly, quarterly, and annual performance. The ideal candidate will use a strong technical finance background to lead the team in leveraging our financial systems, tools, and processes to drive efficiencies while delivering improved business insights. The role will support the monthly close, forecast, annual operating plan (AOP) and long–range plan (LRP) activities as well.As a Finance Manager you can look forward to: Understand all merchant alliance and operations within and across the group, including primary revenue and expense driversServe as the subject matter expert on the Merchant JV Finance team for financial systems and reportingBuild and maintain dashboards of KPI trendsReview and consolidate business unit performance, analyze results, and provide insightsPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages using data and commentary to 'tell the story' of financial performanceMaintain strong partnerships with internal business partners, finance and accounting peersAssist in the monthly close and forecast processes for the teamFacilitate the creation of annual and multi–year strategic plans for the divisionPerform ad hoc analyses, and assist team leadership with complex tasks and projectsMonitor and establish internal controls to assure proper complianceCommunicate through written and formal means, and establish effective working relationships with employees, business partners and company officials.Basic qualifications for consideration: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting5 + years business related experience including similar job responsibilities.Experience with Excel using large amounts of data to examine, verify, interpret, and accurately prepare financial reports and analysis.Experience with Powerpoint presenting financial data and insights to senior leadershipExperience in an FP consolidations role or lead finance support for senior leaders, including preparation of management reporting that includes performance insightsPower BI, PowerPivot, and database management skills.Preferred qualifications: MBA PreferredEssbase, SAP, SAP Business Analyzer and Business Warehouse experience preferredWe will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
