Currently we are looking for a Lead Accountant for our Minsk global shared services team to make our team even stronger.
We are seeking for an Accountant to strengthen our Lease accounting team based in Minsk. We are looking for individual to become the expert in the new Lease accounting standard, perform the Reviewer role and gain deep understanding of SAP Lease module functionality and be the liaison between External Reporting Group and Corporate Accounting to secure the proper presentation of Lease in External and internal finance reports.

Responsibilities
- Review of the leasing agreements and related documents
- Review of the accounting checklists prepared by Analyst per each new lease/modification
- Review of the cash flow per each agreement and correctness of data entered into accounting system
- Be involved in preparation and review of reports that support disclosures in the 10Q and 10K
- Analyze deviation of the financial reporting data (monthly/quarterly basis)
- Build effective communication with the rest of the team and management of other functions including but not limited to Facility Managers & Directors, Regional and Local Finance controllers
- Provide support to Auditors (internal and external)
- Work with ad-hoc requests and projects as requested
- High Finance/Accounting background
- ACCA/DipIFR
- Understanding of US GAAP/IFRS concepts and experience in applying them to daily accounting activities
- Minimum 4 years accounting working experience
- Management experience at least 2 years
- Working knowledge SAP (advantage), other ERP systems
- Good knowledge of English (Intermediate + level at least)
- Good MS office skills, especially Excel skills
