DESCRIPTION
We are hiring a Business Analyst to join the BA Unit in the EPAM Gomel Office. You will work independently or within project teams, collaborate directly with the customers and their representatives to deliver the solutions that add value to the client's business.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions with the client's representatives
- Analyze and document product requirements
- Organize and run standup, iteration planning, and other Agile-related meetings when required
- Collaborate with the Product Owners to manage and maintain the product backlog
- Present the backlog items to the project team for feasibility analysis and estimation
- Work with project managers to ensure delivery commitments are appropriate and met through story selection, task definition, and prioritization
- Identify and track the risks, assumptions and dependencies related to the project
- Demonstrate the working software to the key stakeholders
- 2+ years requirements creation (incl creating user stories and use cases, functional decomposition)
- Good understanding of the software development life cycle and the engagement of a BA at each phase
- Practice in modelling business processes (UML, BPMN, DFD)
- Experience working with back-end (API) requirements
- Hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum practices
- Readiness to learn and systematize business domain knowledge
- Excellent communication skills, ability to participate in phone conferences, be involved in customer workshops and presentations
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
- Knowledge of the business domains: Insurance, Life Science, FinTech
- Practice in UX design and UI prototyping
- Using issue tracking tools (e. g., JIRA + Confluence)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Clouds (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with integration projects across systems, business partners, clients and vendors
