Our client a leading Insurance company based in Dublin city centre have an opportunity for a Group Finance Manager to lead the consolidated reporting process for a number of group entities.

Key job details:

• Production of annual and interim published financial reports in accordance with IFRS
• Collaborate closely with statutory accounting teams, tax and other finance functions
• Proactive identification and interpretation of IFRS accounting standards and legal entity reporting
• Ownership of Group accounting for complex and/or non-routine areas
• Proactively identify improvements to existing processes and new processes

Qualifications and skills required:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 8 years post qualification experience
• Experience within the Insurance industry is preferable.
• Strong IFRS financial accounting experience including IFRS17 and IFRS 9
• Experienced preparing consolidated group accounts.
• Previous people management experience.
