The Job:
Reporting to the CMD European Commercial Finance Director, this role is part of the remote working FP&A team supporting all activities of the CMD EMEA Commercial team, covering $600M of bookings and revenue.
What will you do?
Key responsibilities include forecast support, analytics and involvement in the sales commissions process You'll have a strong team spirit and willingness to work together with our finance team. As the Division implements new technologies to support the automation of analytics, this is a great time to be part of this team. These functions include, but are not limited to:
• Monitor and analyze weekly sales and booking for instruments and consumables
• Monitor and analyze monthly expense vs. AOP and prior periods
• Represent Finance in various Practical Process Improvement projects
• Generate and standardize financial reporting to drive solid business decisions and meet financial objectives - involvement in PowerBI/Tableau platforms
• Statistical and analytical data support for SFDC (Sales Force)
• Support pricing requests and analytics
• Assist in the development and preparation of annual budgets and monthly bookings and revenue forecasts
• Perform analysis and answer adhoc reporting requests regarding bookings, revenue, opex and inventory
• Support monthly and quarterly business review presentations; provide insights and support to the business units through a deep understanding of the instrument sales
• Provide support in the calculations of sales commissions and input into plan design/development
• Perform special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as required. Share best practices
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
• Some experience in financial analysis and reporting experience
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated with high drive for action; hands on team player
