What you'll need to succeed
You will be required to have proven success working in a similar role using SAP or TechnologyOne. You must have or be working towards CA or CPA qualifications, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proactive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
You are also required to hold a current security clearance or have the ability to obtain.

Your new role
This Federal Government Department is seeking dynamic and highly skilled individual's to perform tasks inclusive of, but not limited the following;
- Preparing the department's annual financial statements including high quality and comprehensive supporting reconciliations and workpapers
- Preparing monthly financial statements at the program or outcome level
- Management of the month-end ledger close process
- Management of the department's asset register
- Cash and appropriation management
- Managing the department's taxation obligations
- Reviewing and developing high quality and fit for purpose accounting policies and position papers
- Maintaining professional working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including the Department of Finance, the Australian National Audit Office and portfolio entities
- Providing high quality financial reporting and accounting advice to internal and external stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
