Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A

As a key member of the FP&A Operations Team your primary responsibilities are to assist in the reporting and analysis necessary to provide timely, transparent and value-added support to the business. The selected candidate must be willing to proactively engage with global plant FP&A, costing as well as senior operation managers while providing trusted financial leadership. This position will report to the Senior Director of Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide senior leadership with appropriate financial planning and analysis tools to establish goals and measure against performance of the company's objectives and key results
• Partnering with plant and lines of business leadership in the delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual results
• Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications
• Participate as a key thought leader of the global finance team, influencing decision making and identifying finance priorities
• Performing variance reporting and analysis that focuses on underlying business drivers which can inform business decisions
• Coordinate the production of a zero-based, bottom-up annual budget and yearly capital allocation process
• Own the management and financial approval of Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs)
• Working in collaboration with business leadership to perform value-added financial analysis, to create financial models and business cases and to identify areas of risk and opportunity

Requirements

• 5-7 years of finance and accounting experience with progressive responsibility, especially with exposure to manufacturing operations
• A bachelor's degree in business and a professional CPA, MBA or similar qualification
• Independent thinking, problem-solving skills and decision-making skills
• Expert knowledge of Excel, Power Point, with exposure to SAP, BPC and SQL
