This established mining business are based in Central NSW, where they have carved out a reputation in the market as a leading employer who is also dedicated to giving back to the communities they are operate in. They are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team and provide support to their three sites on the east coast of Australia.

Your new role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Utilising the database to maintain employee records
  • Managing end to end payroll across 3 sites, up to 250 employees
  • End of month and financial year payroll balancing and reporting
  • Responding to employee enquiries and resolving payroll issues
  • Award interpretation, ensuring correct award is applied to each file

What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in a similar position managing a payroll of 200 or more
  • Strong experience using Pronto
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and problem solving skills
