NHS Payroll Manager

The NHS is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Payroll Manager to lead the Trust's busy and friendly payroll and pension team. You will be a self-motivated, pro-active individual with excellent management, communication and numeracy skills and be highly organised and conscientious with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Description

The post holder will manage the payroll and pension team to provide an efficient service to the Trust and client organisations. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the prompt and accurate processing of payroll and expenses for the Trust's and external clients' monthly and weekly payroll for 15,000 staff

Profile

The role requires extensive knowledge and experience of using the ESR system, processing payroll elements, statutory regulations, NHS and local terms and conditions, and management of the NHS pension scheme
