Together with the Regional Finance Director, responsible for maintaining a SOX-compliant Finance function for Warner Chappell Music Asia Pacific , overseeing and consolidating US GAAP management reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting, finance operations throughout the region, audit and tax issues, including statutory reporting.

Requirements:
Together with the Regional Finance Director, responsible for maintaining a SOX-compliant Finance function for Warner Chappell Music Asia Pacific , overseeing and consolidating US GAAP management reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting, finance operations throughout the region, audit and tax issues, including statutory reporting.
Responsibilities:
Accounting, Financial Reporting and Planning
- Review and coordinate monthly and quarterly financial reporting deliverables, including commentaries and balance sheet reconciliations by local Finance teams
- Responsible for all closing tasks, forecast and budgeting of the Asia Head Office cost centre
- Preparation and consolidation of regional monthly reports of consolidated US GAAP numbers
- Preparation and consolidation of monthly forecasts, quarterly present views and annual budgets
- Overseeing the preparation, audit and timely submission of statutory accounts for all territories
- Overseeing the timely submission of statutory filings (including tax) for all territories
- Ensure compliance to internal control standards and audit requirements across the region
- Coordinates, advises and guides finance teams in the region
- Working closely with the finance and business team, prepare, consolidate and review management reporting (income analysis) for business performance evaluation
- Propose and formulate management reports to identify, explain and support strategic decisions by business team
- Review, recommend and implement systematic finance process improvements to internal control processes and environments across the region
- Promote and support strategic or company-wide projects
- Participation in ad-hoc project/working groups required at certain junctures in the process
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in in Finance/Accountancy/CPA/ACCA/Economics or related field
- Extensive experience working in finance and accounting and dealing with complex financial accounting processes and procedures, including exposure to Asia finance operation
- Experience of data analysis with the ability to analyse complex information to provide insight and propose relevant strategic action plans
- Demonstrated understanding of Asia financial environment and best practices
- Working experience in the media/creative sector would be an added advantage.
- Required skill(s): Strong on International accounting standards, US GAAP and taxation knowledge, Strong Leadership , Presentation skills , Interpersonal skills , Proficient IT skills ,Microsoft Dynamic Navision and Hyperion would be an added advantage.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin is preferred as this role supports China, Hong Kong and Taiwan offices
- Willingness to travel to local offices or corporate offices periodically for business meetings
