Job Purpose:
The Associate will assists the Accounting Hong Kong team in daily deliverables to ensure excellent service to clients.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Book-keeper/Preparer who performs daily accounting work with MEDIUM complexity porfolio of  clients, including preparation of  journal entries (AR/AR/Bank), closing full set of book, preparation of financial statements & schedulings, bank/account reconcilation, preparation of tax computations and returns, payment support services, and other tailor made management reports/ financial analysis.
  • Assist in liaising  with auditors (and tax agents).
  • Ensure all accounts portfolio assigned are completed on time for reporting purposes
  • Ensure all accounting documentation and information are properly stored/filed
  • Completes time sheets in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Key requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Business with at least 2 years of working experience in the related field
  • or equivalent e.g. Diploma holder in Accountancy or Business with 3 years working experience
  • Candidate must possess at least Partial Professional Accounting qualifications (ACCA/CPA)
  • Good knowledge of international and local accounting principles and practices and financial reporting                                                                                    
  • Attention to detail and accuracy                                                                  
  • Good Excel skill set & knowledge of cloud accounting system or other accounting system exposure
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and Organisational skills
  • Possesses a strong sense of responsibility and positive disposition
  • Good command of both spoken and written English (Ability to speak and write mandarin/cantonese will be an added advantages)
