We are now hiring for a Boutique Independent Accounting Firm in Hull, who is looking for a highly motivated Semi Senior Accountant with experience in a practice setting.
The right candidate will be hardworking, trustworthy and willing to work in a position that will require daily contact with client. Experience producing sole traders and small business accounts is essential, as is someone who is ambitious and hastheresponsibilityand self-disciplinetowork alone.
Duties:
* Preparation and submission of statutory accounts for sole traders and small limited firms.
* Preparation of personal and business tax returns.
* Review and submission of VAT returns.
* Mentoring junior members of staff when needed.
* Payroll processing for some customers.
* Connecting with stakeholders to resolve questions where necessary.
Responsibilities:
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Minimum of 2 years of practice experience.
* Can-do and positive attitude with clients.
* AAT Qualified / QBE / ACCA/ ACA
