The RoleAs a Intermediate Tax & Business Services Accountant, you will have a pivot role within the team. Through your solid understanding of Australian Tax, you will be delivering tax related support to your client portfolio.
Duties:
- Preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Returns, and BAS/IAS for Individuals, Partnerships, Sole Traders, Companies and Trusts
- Preparation of FBT returns.
- Management accounting, budgeting and cash flow statements
- Liaising with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASIC.
- Solid understanding of Payroll and lodging Payroll Tax obligations on behalf of clients
- Taxation advice and planning
- Fostering and maintaining client relationships
- Degree qualified (Accounting, Commerce or Business)
- Experience with taxation structures, Division 7a, CGT, small business concessions & superannuation
- Previous accounting experience within a public practice
- Xero, MYOB and Excel skills
