SME Finance Manager
Michael Page are working exclusively on this SME multi-site Finance Manager opportunity ideal for someone based in Nuneaton. The role is hands-on and all-encompassing with a £5m revenue remit.
My client is a nationwide, acquisitive group of companies with a presence across the UK. The recent acquisitions in Birmingham and Luton, have lead the business to the decision that a new Finance Manager will be required to enable a professionalisation and development of the processes and policies at both sites.
Working with the group parent company and the local business leaders, this role will be perfect for someone looking for a stable business where they can deliver the monthly and yearly financial information.
This is a truly hands-on finance position, working within two very small organisations that require support from the bottom up. Everything from invoicing and journaling through to the production of financial reports and banking, you will be engaged and involved.
The group will look to move the business from the Sage 50 system to a groupwide platform eventually however initially, experience of using the Sage 50 system is highly preferable.
You will be responsible for everything from invoicing, debt management, financial reporting, development of the management information, partnering with the MD (within both businesses).
The ideal candidate will be available on a short notice (no more than 1 month) with extensive SME experience. You will have worked within small companies and be used to the day-to-day management of cash, debt, financial reporting, analysis etc.

- Have experience within truly small businesses (c£1-10m t/o)
- Demonstrate autonomy and ability to pick things up quickly
- Be available on a short notice
- Enjoy traveling to two different sites
- Have a strong financial acumen
