A rare opportunity has arisen within a Bristol based accountancy practice offering the chance for a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant in practice to develop their career within a growing Insolvency department. The directors/partners and management team are looking to support and train the right profession coming from a background in any of audit/tax/business services or other service lines who is interested in the potential to diversify and move into insolvency.
Client Details
A highly successful, Bristol based accountancy practice that has experienced impressive growth. The firm acts for wide ranging clients in turnovers and size from smaller, start up, entrepreneurial businesses through to larger corporates, AIM listed and significant sized groups up to circa £200 million in turnover for instance, with a wide ranging OMB client base across varying industries. Their insolvency department acts for Large Corporate Organisations, SMEs and smaller assignments on the corporate side across varied sectors to include retail, construction, manufacturing, charities as some examples. Alongside this the department also undertakes personal insolvency, bankruptcies and Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs) work. Excellent training, support and appraisals systems are in place and on offer to encourage and support the right professionals looking to carve a career in this sector
Description
Based in their Bristol offices you will develop your career as an Insolvency specialist /administrator with increasing involvement with advisory project work as you develop, learn and progress within a team of highly experienced insolvency and corporate recovery professionals providing ongoing support, guidance and mentoring. You will learn and develop the skills across both corporate and personal insolvency work with involvement across administrations and CVAs, liquidations of insolvent and solvent companies, along with bankruptcies and IVAs. The managerial/senior managerial and director/partner support group will support and develop the right person making this transition from a more standard accountancy practice role and will encourage, support and develop the right professional.
Profile
You will be any of ACA/ACCA qualified, with a career background so far within the audit, tax. accounts/ business service lines or other areas and be looking to diversify your career into the insolvency and corporate recovery sector, motivated by the chance to move into this field and role where you can see a genuine clear progression and development path on offer.
Job Offer
Circa £30,000 - £38,000 dependent on the background and experience of the right professional.
