Responsibilities:
- ensure timely payment of invoices
- execute monthly bookkeeping
- record/monitor financial activity using Quickbooks
- prepare/manage monthly cash flow
- prepare all banking transactions
- prepare semi-mointhly payroll, T4''s, payroll tax payments, ROE''s
- assist in the annual audit
- complete yearly HST reports
- other general administrative duties
- high level of computer literacy
- proficiency with Quickbooks, Excel, and other Microsoft office applications
- knowledge of regulatory changes and potential impacts on a non-profit organization
- minimum Level 2 of the CGA program or 5 years in accounting field
- bookkeeping experience specific to the non-profit sector
- high attention to detail
- good written and verbal communication skills
- strong administrative, time management and organizational skills
- ability to multi task
