Serco are proud to be delivering and managing the Emergency Planning College on behalf of the UK Cabinet Office. The purpose of the EPC is to build resilience by developing competent individuals, capable teams and resilient organisations, giving them the ability to identify, manage and recover from a wide range of challenges.As the Finance Business Partner, you will work closely alongside the Head of the EPC and the larger leadership team to help the commercial and financial success of the contract. This is an opportunity for a commercially focused Finance expert, to support the business in delivering a profitable and sustainable growth of service.

What you'll need to do the roleThis is an opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded Finance Manager to make full use of their experience of working closely and intrinsically to a management team within a successful organisation.This individual must be familiar with being able to identify both potential issues and opportunities for commercial growth, while being able to also negotiate, listen and resolve conflicts with key decision makers.While this individual must old an appropriate professional qualification for the role (such as an ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners, is equally as vital.
