We are hiring for an Accounts Officer - Payables Management

  • Should have sound knowledge of Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Taxes, and related Tax Compliances.
  • Experience in handling the similar job role as defined below:
  • Preparation / Verification of Payments Summary and Net Amount Payable for each payment transaction. (Verification of Payments for Payee Tax Status, Invoice verification for Applicable Sales & Income Taxes, Applying Respective Withholding Taxes, etc).
  • Recording of Invoices and Payments in the Payables Module of the Accounting software / ERP.
  • Verification of daily payment transactions for bank reconciliations
  • Daily day end Internal reporting of payments processed.
  • Weekly reporting for Payables Balances, Outstanding Invoices, and Payable Balances.
  • Updating himself and team for changes in applicable taxes as and when notified.
  • Preparation and submission of weekly / monthly withholding payments with its payment challans.
  • Handling of Income Tax and Sales Tax FBR portals for Statutory reporting and required compliances.
  • Providing tax withholding challans to Vendors/ Suppliers on timely basis.
  • Keep up to date record of all exemption certificate and applicable underlying documents.
  • Liaoning with Vendors/ Suppliers and management of Payables Ledgers and Balances.
  • Balances reconciliations with Vendors/ Suppliers (Quarterly).
  • Handle daily volume of 25 to 50 transactions per day.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong control over area of work and in strict deadlines and with quick turnaround time for transaction processing.
  • Ability to have clear and effective communication with all stakeholders for amicably handling the job role.

    • Education: Bachelors

    Certification: Degree Title BBA / BS / B.Com / Equivalent, CAT / CA / CMA Inter

    Career Level: Experienced Professional

    Experience: 3 Years
