The Company

A European MNC in the commodities trading business who have been around for more than 40 years, with their presence across APAC, is currently looking for a GL Accountant to assist them for 6 months.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be handling financial and management reporting functions. Responsibilities include AP, AR, bank reconciliation, preparing journal entries, GST submission, performing month end closing process, preparing financial reports as well as performing analysis function. You will need to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and will be tasked with process improvement projects.

Your Profile

The successful incumbent should possess a minimum qualification of a Degree in accounting with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience, has a good analytical mindset, and sound knowledge in GAAP and tax regulations. He/She should have strong communication skills and is a team player. Knowledge of Oracle/SAP/intermediate excel skills will be preferred. Immediate availability will be advantageous.
