- To provide key inputs for the implementation of the ERP system.
- Responsible for assigning fixed assets codes and updating the fixed assets register log.
- Review & ensure staff expense claims, supplier payments accounted for in timely manner.
- Liaise with Clients regarding the outstanding payments.
- Perform monthly invoices and statement of accounts.
- Perform intercompany balances reconciliations.
- Analyze cost accounting data and assist with cycle count / physical inventories.
- Monitor monthly cash flow and cash statements, profit & loss analysis and trend analysis.
- Conduct research and perform analytical studies about cost analyses and profitability.
- Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting on monthly financial reports and against budgets.
- Analyze, review and report weekly, monthly, quarterly cost margins and gross margin reports by brand / SKU.
- Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to management and Head Office.
- Assist in month-end closing
- Maintain internal control documentation as required by Head Office.
- Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules and forecasting and project management.
- Recommend process improvement initiatives to improve financial procedures.
- Responsible for corporate tax and GST compliance, government incentives scheme and statistics surveys and statutory matters.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and accounting requirements.
- Administer grants applications relevant to the company / industry.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of working experience
- Experience in Project Accounting, WIP and Inventory Costing in a manufacturing industry is a must
- Proficient in SAP is an added advantage
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong working knowledge in management and costings and accounting standards that affect manufacturing
- Strong communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Willing to multi-task and able to meet tight deadline.
- Candidate must be willing to work at Tai Seng upon joining and at Tuas subsequently.
