Our client is a Fintech startup backed by a top global incubator. Headquartered in Singapore with operations across South East Asia, they provide small and medium businesses convenient financial services including debit and credit card products, digital banking and cash management systems.
The Job
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the finance department regionally as a senior business leader, driving end to end the financial performance of the business
- Leading due diligence and financial fundraising work across multiple types of capital
- Delivering annual audited financial statements at the group and entity level
- Delivering accurate monthly budget and actual expenses for monthly management reporting
- Overseeing internal policies and identifying financial risks
- Overseeing treasury function and making sure capital is segregated from lending
- Overseeing accounting principles and policies and overseeing proper execution by local teams
- Overseeing finance operations and liquidity management
- Complying with regulatory requirements and tax commitments
The Profile
- You have a degree in Finance, Banking, Audit, Consulting, or related field
- You have at least 5 years experience as Head of Finance or similar role, with experience in managing a small to medium-d team
- Having a good understanding of SMEs would be an added advantage
- You posses an entrepreneurial spirit in a Fintech startup environment
- You are a fast learner and passionate for the Fintech industry with the ability to handle ambiguity
- You are analytical, with strong communication skills, and the ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, and collaborative environment
