This is an European Agriculture and Food solutions multinational, with a global footprint across 40 over countries. Singapore serves as a key regional commercial hub, supporting commercial, sales and distribution activities across more than 10 countries in Asia Pacific. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Financial Controller to lead a high performing team based in Singapore.
Reporting to the Asia Pacific CFO based in Singapore, the Regional Financial Controller will lead all financial planning and analysis activities, including annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting. He/ She will also play a significant role in supporting the Group's continuous efforts to improve on business processes, business intelligence and performance measurements. The Financial Controller will also support the region's M&A activities, including integration and divestments. As this is a managerial position, the Financial Controller will guide and be the mentor for his/ her team members.
The successful candidate must have a degree in an Accounting or finance discipline, with10-15 years of work experience in financial analysis, management reporting and controllership, armed with up-to-date understanding of changes in IFRS, controls framework. Those with broad base financial controllership experience within agriculture, food, chemicals have a distinct advantage. You will also have a proven track record managing diverse teams across the region, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred due to the need to engage with China-based external and internal stakeholders.
