Financial Controller

Job Description

· To lead and manage the Finance Department and ensure all relevant accounting standards are strictly complied with and updated;

· To ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with current policies and procedures;

· To ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met;

· To establish and execute internal controls over company's accounting and financial procedures;

· Provide accurate and comprehensive financial reports/information such as financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, budgets, budget-to-actual, and financial projections to executive management;

· To review and analyze periodic financial information and prepare financial statements;

· To liaise with external parties such as bankers, auditors, tax agents, etc;

· To actively participate in potential investment transactions & contribute objective perspectives in decision making processes;

· To analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues;

· To analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures; provide strategic recommendations and solutions to business and financial problems;

· To undertake other duties as assigned by GM and/or CEO.

Job Requirement

· Accounting qualifications, with membership to a recognized accounting society

· Relevant 7-10 years past working experience in Finance/Accounting industry

· At least 5 years in finance leadership positions

· Strong analytical skills

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

· Mature and able to motivate staff to achieve goals.

· Highly responsible & reliable with exceptional attention to detail

· Good reasoning ability and able to multi-task under pressure.

· Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

· Effective bilingual in English and Chinese (both spoken and written)
