BlairWest is delighted to be partnering one of the North East's most recognisable names in the hunt for an Interim Management Accountant for a period of at least 6 months. Reporting into a Senior Finance Manager, you will be tasked with the following duties:
The Role:
* Produce monthly Management accounts
* Produce variance analysis and commentaries
* Assist the business profitability and growth with thorough analysis
* Complete Balance Sheet Reconciliations
* Produce the Monthly Reporting pack alongside senior management
* Finance Business Partnering with other areas of the business, providing support to senior management in the making of value added financial decisions
* Lead, manage, guide and motivate the central overheads accounting team
* Provide regular and adhoc management reporting and analysis for decision making
* Contribute to budget and planning process
* Carry out continuous reviews of working practices to ensure efficient and cost effective operations
* Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems, suggesting improvements where required
The Individual:
* Experience in a fast paced, Management Accountant role
* Strong IT Skills
* Ability to be pro-active and show initiative
* Line Management Experience (desirable)
