Public Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a highly reputable firm in Leeds who are currently looking to expand their team by recruiting an Audit & Accounts Manager to join their team.

This opportunity could suit an experienced Assistant Manager who is looking for a step up/ career progression or a Manager who is looking to consolidate their experience within a leading firm.

The successful individual will work directly with partners and will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients from an array of industry sectors, taking responsibility for all services provided to these clients.

The ideal candidate for the role will be ACA / ACCA qualified and will have a wealth of audit experience from an established practice background with previous staff management experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to join a highly reputable firm where there is genuine scope for an ambitious and driven individual to progress to Senior Manager/ Associate in time. Responsibilities:

Managing a diverse portfolio of clients
Managing external audits
Review of the audit file/ financial statements
Ensuring the deployment of appropriate staff levels for each assignment
Day to day management and training of staff
Reporting directly to the Partners
Conducting staff appraisals
Working on ad hoc projects

Requirements:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified + PQE
Experience of managing audits through to completion
Experience of managing a client portfolio (ideally)
Practice experience is essential
