Finance Manager

Redmill Consulting's client is looking for a Finance Manager for an exciting new permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity for you to further your skills in managing a small team, deputising for the Finance Director, preparing management accounts and working in a hands-on environment.

JOB

The job of Finance Manager will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

* Direct line manager of two members of staff, reporting into the Finance Director

* Taking the lead in preparing management accounts including budgeting & forecasting

* Liaising with key stakeholders

* Preparing KPI's

* Preparing VAT returns

* Discussing & advising performance against budget with budget holders

* Liaising with Auditors

YOU

As Finance Manager you will ideally be skilled and/or qualified in the following:

* Skilled in carrying out the above tasks

* Ideally a Qualified Accountant, but applications will be considered from candidates who are Part-Qualified or QBE who can demonstrate the relevant experience

* Management skills would be preferable

* Computer literate including MS Excel (ideally pivot tables, lookups, conditional formatting)

* Good verbal & written communication skills both - including the ability to talk confidently on financial & technical issues to a range of stakeholders
