Job Summary: The IT Finance Analyst is responsible for partnering with the Finance and Operations team to provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis to the division's performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision–making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan. This position creates both custom and standardized reports, provides support for IT and Finance, and assesses data integrity to develop and track key performance indicators.

Essential Functions:

1. Assist with annual budgeting process, monthly accounting and financial analysis – IT, Stores, Capital Processes

2. Responsible for contract tracking, resource tracking for billing, and reporting metrics

3. Manage invoices, billed amount/estimate review, account coding, approvals, vendor reconciliations, and accounts payables interface

4. Assemble and submit monthly accruals

5. Maintain IT budget / actuals files

6. Produce regular performance metrics and financial results reports from multiple data sources and provide variance explanations

7. Identify opportunities for improving financial operations by analyzing trends noted in the various analysis performed

8. Oversee, recommend and implement process improvements in accounting and analysis procedures. Includes (but not limited to):

1. Invoicing Processes

2. Data Processing Labor Capitalization Monthly process

3. IT Contracts & Maintenance Tracker

4. Risk and Opportunities Tracker

9. Work on special projects as needed

10. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Associate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field with a minimum of 2 years financial analysis experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

1. Working knowledge of accounting, financial analysis and reporting

2. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

3. Ability to work with all levels of the organization

4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet established deadlines

5. Strong analytical skills and is attentive to detail with a high degree of accuracy

6. Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (Vlookup, pivot tables, formulas, macros); ability to learn new and existing company specific software applications

7. Ability to act with integrity and maintain confidentiality in accordance with company policies and procedures
