IPS Finance are currently working with a 3 office firm of Chartered Accountants currently looking to appoint an accounts semi senior in their North Leeds office.
This well renowned regional firm have a fantastic presence across Yorkshire and they are now looking to add an ambitious individual who is keen to progress their career with a growing firm.
The successful candidate will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a variety of business sectors. The role will include the preparation and review of accounts and tax compliance work, you will be client facing.
The ideal candidate will be actively working towards reaching chartered accountant status, in the case that applicants are studying support may be provided in the way of study leave and financial aid.
Main duties of the role include:
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 + Study support + Benefits
You will have 2+ years of experience working within an accountancy practice and ideally be studying towards your ACA / ACCA qualification.

- Managing own portfolio of clients
- Preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- VAT Returns
- Assisting and training more junior members of team
- Corporation tax returns
- Personal tax returns
- Production of management accounts
- Client Bookkeeping
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 + Study support + Benefits
