A listed oil and gas group is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its team for a full-time role initially offered on a 12-month contract. Based in London, this is a project role helping to implement a new ERP system, as well as assisting the front office trading team.

On offer for the Financial Accountant is a pro rata salary equivalent to £70,000 - £75,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Your New Role
As the new Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering project activity within the finance team.
- ERP system replacement along with trouble shooting.
- All transactions accounting including derivatives, IFRS9 and MTM of inventory.
- Working with the front office trading team.
- Preparation of P&L & Balance sheet / consolidating annual accounts for trading entities.
- Managing operational accounting and transactional activities.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a qualified chartered Accountant who demonstrates:
- Commodities trading experience
- Prior experience within a technical IFRS9 / IAS39 role
- Experience within commodities trading is highly beneficial
Salary
On offer for the Financial Accountant is a pro rata salary equivalent to £70,000 - £75,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
