Part- time Financial Accountant

This Part- time Financial Accountant is for an oil and gas production company, based in central London. ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE USED THE SYSTEM, SUN.

They are looking for a Part qualified Financial Accountant to join their small team on an ongoing temporary basis.

This role will be part time.

Client Details

This company operate in Russia and Ukraine, as well as their headquarters in London. They specialise in the production of oil and Gas.

This Part- time Financial Accountant position will be office based in London, however you will have the flexibility to work from home should you wish.

Description

The key responsibilities for this role are:

• Bank posting and reconciliation
• Manual payments posting and manual payments to invoices allocations in Sun
• Prepare monthly inter-company invoices
• Reconcile inter-company transactions and resolve imbalances;
• Foreign exchange and inter company eliminations
• Supplier balances review
• Assistance with reviewing, disclosures and reports for auditors during year and half year end
• Ad hoc accountancy project work

Profile

The successful candidate will have experience on SUN system. YOU WILL NOT GET TO INTERVIEW STAGE UNLESS YOU HAVE SUN.

It is also very important that you have previous experience in multi-currencies

You will need to have previous experience in:

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Sun accounts systems
• Have strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
• Good understanding of month end process
• Be able to work to strict deadlines
• Be self-motivated to resolve issues and make process improvements
• Working as part of a small accountancy team
