Management Accountant

Based in the Halton area, this national service provider are looking for a Management Accountant to report into the Commercial Finance Manager.

Description

Working with the Commercial Finance Manager, the post holder of Management Accountant will be the lead Finance member in supporting the various locations through the UK.

The Management Accountant will be required to conduct the following duties:

• Production of Management accounts:
  • Accruals, prepayments, adjustments, journals, Variance analysis
• Contribute to annual budgeting process
• Re forecasting
• Draft income and expenditure statements with appropriate working capital balances, assets and reserve entries
• Working within Service Level Agreements
• Understand KPIs
• Work with Regional Managers to challenge, advise and educate on budgets and forecasting

Profile

It is essential applicants for Management Accountant have the following:

• Experience in working within Finance, particularly within Management Accounts and budgetary control setting
• Manage trial balance reviews
• Have demonstrable skills within Management Accounts
• Deliver and support budgeting and forecasting programmes
• The desire to add value and deliver excellence
