Your new company
With worldwide interests, this company has continued production throughout the difficult pandemic months. Following a number of group wide changes, they are now looking to enhance their senior finance team.
Your new role
Reporting to the on-site Group FC, your role will have two clear functions; to provide timely and accurate detailed monthly reporting packs to Group and also to provide financial insight on key projects and non-routine work.
Your key responsibilities will include: preparation of monthly P&L and month end reporting to Group and Board, reconciliation and preparation of P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts. Working closely with production and R&D looking at profitability and costing. Assist with revenue risk analysis of new products. Division wide budgetary control.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant, ideally from a manufacturing background who is used to working in a fast paced environment working to tight reporting deadlines. Alongside your reporting skills you will also have worked closely with production and R&D teams providing essential financial input and guidance. Experience of working on large ERP systems would be beneficial. Excellent Excel skills are essential to be able to succeed in this role.
