School Finance Manager

Position: School Finance Manager
Location: Harrow
Start: November/December
Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 per annum
Hours: Mon - Fri (8am - 4.30pm)

Qin Recruitment are delighted to be representing a beautiful school that is steeped in more than 150 years of history. The school is based in Harrow.

We are looking to appoint an experienced individual to join the school's Finance Department and take up the post of Finance Manager.

The successful applicant will need to be dynamic and proactive and able to lead a busy department and satisfy often conflicting requirements in a calm and efficient way. You will support the Director of Finance and will be responsible for managing and operating the School's financial function.

The Finance Manager will liaise regularly with the Director of Finance and will be responsible to them for the day-to-day management and running of the school's accounting function. This includes responsibility for the timely and accurate running and production of the payroll, school fee invoices, purchase ledger, management and statutory accounts, budgeting, forecasting and maintaining the school's financial procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential to have a good level of education.
Desirable to be CIMA/ ACCA/ACA or AAT qualified.
Previous experience of working in a school is desirable, particularly in a finance function.
A high level of ICT skills will be required as will an advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel which will be essential.

Salary & Hours

Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
Hours will be Monday - Friday, working 8am - 4.30pm.
Full Time, All Year Round
