Regulatory Assurance Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of TAFE NSW Delivery, Implementation and Performance team.

The Regulatory Assurance Officer is responsible for providing support to ensure compliance with standards set by regulatory bodies.

Reporting to the Manager Compliance and Assurance, this position:
  • Monitor, review and report on compliance with standards as set by regulatory bodies to ensure the delivery of compliant and quality learning outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice and support to stakeholders on contract compliance requirements and standards to ensure these are met and outcomes are optimised; this includes those related to ASQA, Smart and Skilled, TESQA, ESOS, CRICOS and others set by regulatory bodies.
  • Contribute input to regular and ad hoc reports to the Region on performance and activities to inform resourcing decisions.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and review of policies, procedures and processes to ensure educational delivery for example including Trainees and Apprenticeships is compliant and achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Support continuous improvement strategies through contributing to the regular review of processes and procedures with Skills Teams and, as required, implement improvement and corrective actions and strategies to ensure the provision of efficient and effective services.
If you have...
  • A Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing advice on regulations and standards within the VET and Higher Education sector.
  • Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.
