Practice Accountant - Part Time
Newcastle
Negotiable depending upon experience
Our client is an established accountancy practice based in Newcastle; due to a period of sustained growth, they are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team.
The role will be a flexible part time basis working 20-25 hours a week.
Duties include:
* Reviewing work carried out by accounts staff including sole trader, partnership and company year-end accounts.
* Overseeing and finalising all aspects of tax and VAT carried out by other employees.
Experience:
* At least 5 years' experience working in accountancy practices
* Good knowledge of accounts, tax and VAT
* Previous experience dealing face to face with clients
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* Experience using accounting software/excel
