Assistant Accountant Northampton £20,000 - £25,000
SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a market leading business in Northampton. Due to recent growth my client is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join the business on a full time, permanent basis. The successful Assistant Accountant will become part of a small well ran finance team and report directly in to the Finance Director;. My client is seeking an individual with proven experience within a similar position.
Duties of the Assistant Accountant: - Maintaining the sales and purchase ledger - start to finish process - Daily banking and updating internal system with payments received - Bank Reconciliations - Assist with month end procedures - Credit Control - Raise purchase orders/sales invoices as and when required - VAT Returns - Ad hoc Payroll support. - Petty cash - Office administration duties
Skills and Attributes required - Competent Excel User - Sage experienced - desirable - Excellent attention to detail - 3 + years' experience
The package/company - 37.5 hours a week (flexible hours) - Free on-site parking - Accessible via public transport - £20,000 - £25,000 Dependant on experience / qualifications
