Responsibilities:
This is a leadership role managing the EMEA Equities and Security Services Product Control team consisting of approximately 60 staff based across London and Budapest Reporting to Global Product Control Heads for both Equities and Security Services in addition to the EMEA Head of Product Control Provide guidance for a variety of broad based and complex issues Develop new concepts and approaches to solving issues affecting EMEA Equities and Security Services Product Control Manage the budget and planning, performance evaluations, career development, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations Serve as an integral member of both the Global Equities and Security Services Product Control team as well as the EMEA Product Control team Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in a related role In-depth experience related to Product Control required Robust product knowledge of both Equity and Security Services products In-depth knowledge of financial accounting rules for financial instruments Proven track record of strong control focus Experience managing large teams, both local and remote
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience Master's degree preferred
