Your new role
This role is to work within their Public Sector team and as manager you will be a senior member of the audit group. You will be responsible for servicing clients, directing all assurance services, managing people and supporting the partners on business development and practice management. You will act as lead on public sector clients, overseeing delivery of all audit services, managing people which could include resource planning and allocation, performance management, training and other related duties. You will also hold responsibility for maximising profitability, monitoring this and working with the partner to ensure maximised efficiency and timeliness of billing.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will hold an accountancy qualification and have experience as an audit manager in practice. You will have significant experience of delivering audit and assurance services to public sector clients. Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards and IFRS is essential.
